Frequently Asked Questions

These are the questions we hear most often from families and students. If you can't find your answer, get in touch — our initial consultations are free.

Is your consultancy service paid?

Our initial consultation is always free. The scope of our service and any fees are clarified transparently in that first meeting based on your needs — there are no surprise costs.

From what age do you place students?

Supervised summer schools generally accept ages 10-17, while adult language schools usually set a minimum of 16 or 18. We recommend programmes with strong welfare and supervision policies appropriate to the student's age.

Can you guarantee that I will get a visa?

No — and we'd advise you to be wary of anyone who claims they can. Visa decisions rest solely with the official authorities. Our role is to provide advisory support and document preparation assistance so your file is complete and consistent with the current requirements.

How much does a language school in the UK cost?

Costs vary by city, school, course intensity and accommodation type. In your consultation we prepare a realistic budget covering tuition, accommodation and living expenses.

Which cities do you recommend?

In the UK we work most with London, Brighton, Oxford, Cambridge and Manchester; in Germany with Berlin, Munich and Hamburg. Recommendations are always personalised to the student's goals and budget.

Do you arrange accommodation?

We organise accommodation options (homestay, residence, dormitory) together with the schools and providers, and guide you through the contracts and house rules. For under-18 students we review supervision policies with the family.

What documents do I need for a university application?

Typically a transcript, diploma or proof of study, an English test result (e.g. IELTS), a personal statement and reference letters. We draw up the exact list — which varies by programme — together with your application plan.

How far in advance should I apply?

Ideally 2-4 months for language schools, 4-6 months for summer schools, and 6-12 months for university applications. Visa appointment calendars get busy in peak seasons, so early planning always helps.
